I heard of a little boy who came home from Sunday school one day, and his mother asked him what they had studied. “Well, this morning we studied Moses. we learned all about Moses.” she said “well, honey, what did you learn about Moses?” he said, “well, it was neat, mom. he was trying to get out of Egypt with all of his friends, and he went down to this sea; and then uh…and then Moses radioed the helicopters and the helicopters called out the pontoon boats, and they came and picked up all the people that were going across the sea. as soon as they got out in the middle, they signaled the helicopters again, and they detonated the…the dynamite that was there, and they blew up the whole sea; and all the people that were chasing Moses drowned.” his mother said, “john, are you sure that’s what you heard in Sunday school this morning?” he said, “well, it wasn’t exactly like that, but of i told you the way she said it, you’d never believe me.”
