Praise the LORD, all you nations;
extol Him, all you peoples.
for great is His love toward us.
and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.
Praise the LORD.

I heard of a little boy who came home from Sunday school one day, and his mother asked him what they had studied. “Well,this morning we studied Moses. we learned all about Moses.” she said “well, honey, what did you learn about Moses?” he said, “well, it was neat, mom. he was trying to get out of Egypt with all of his friends, and he went down to this sea; and then uh…and then Moses radioed the helicopters and the helicopters called out the pontoon boats, and they came and picked up all the people that were going across the sea. as soon as they got out in the middle, they signaled the helicopters again, and they detonated the…the dynamite that was there, and they blew up the whole sea; and all the people that were chasing Moses drowned.” his mother said, “john, are you sure that’s what you heard in Sunday school this morning?” he said, “well, it wasn’t exactly like that, but of i told you the way she said it, you’d never believe me.”

This is from the Turning Points magazine & devotional that my mom gets :) A man sitting under a walnut tree was wondering why God had placed a large pumpkin on a small vine and a little walnut on large tree. While he was philosophizing, a walnut fell from the tree and hit the man on the head. The man rubbed his head ruefully and said, I’m glad there aren’t pumpkins up there.
